Upcoming Events in Fourth Grade

Natural History Museum

Date: November 18th

We will be leaving at 8:30 and plan to be back around 2:30. Please pack a snack lunch for your child. They also need to be in performance dress, for a reminder of what that is please look at the Renaissance Academy website. Students will be learning about the various historial events in our states history.

We will need 12 parents to come with us on this field trip. You are welcome to drive separately or ride with us on the bus. It is aproximently 1 hour away.

Native American Art Wonder Day

Date: November 20th

Time: 10:50-12:00

We will be exploring Native American art work, weaving, and other Native American traditions. We will need some volunteers to help with a couple centers.

Date: November 25-27th

Math

This month we will be working on multiplication and division facts and rules. We ask that you review multiplication facts with your students by using the multiplication charts provided. Students need to master these facts by the end of the year.

Social Studies

During October, November, and December we will be learning about Utah's Native Americans. At the end/beginning of November/December an at home project will be coming home. Students will be asked to create a visual display of a Native American dwelling. They will need to include a model of the dwelling, surrounding nature, people, and animals. More information will be made available as it approaches.
