Meet The Teacher

Hi! My name is Mrs. Hanks and I am so excited to be part of the 4th grade team. More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your teacher! It’s going to be a fun year full of learning and new adventures. I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us.

I want to know ALL about you, but first I’m

going to tell you a few things about me.

I grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado and I am

the third of four girls. When I graduated from

high school I moved to Idaho and went to

Brigham Young University-Idaho. I studied

elementary education and couldn’t wait

to graduate and start teaching. I also

studied abroad in Jerusalem, Israel.

I am married to a wonderful man, Justin Hanks. He is attending BYU studying neuroscience. We have a cute black kitty named Hiccup. We both love to hike, camp, and be outdoors. I enjoy traveling, reading, and watching movies. I am so excited to be your “Director” and for you to be part of this AWESOME, all star “cast” we have lined up for Room 215. This is going to be a BLOCKBUSTER year!
